Vintage ads and commercials (II)

At the beginning of October 1924, the Ministry of Education decided to unify school diplomas due to the numerous forgeries reported and discovered in the post-war years: "(...)...it will be applied to the diploma forms, the photo and the student's photograph, in front of the parents, who will be then investigated by the director of the respective school. The president of the examining commission, the chief inspector of the school region and the school director will also hand out the diplomas." (October 3, 1924, Universul newspaper)

The world was less concerned with the forgery of private documents, which had penetrated from the school into society, and more with fun in a Bucharest full of advertisements for soaps and baths, mineral and thermal waters, cafes, confectionery and chocolate, theater and cinema.

I leave you to enjoy those advertisements whose texts and graphics reveal to me today, 100 years later, a booming economy.
